New Rhetorics
Ways of Seeing
Following my graduation from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, I assumed the role of conductor and instructor for a studio within the institution. Titled "New Rhetorics," the studio sought to challenge conventional modes of perception, focusing on the deconstruction of visual elements and the cultivation of metaphorical modes of representation. Exploring the realm of analogy, we leveraged its inherent potential as a tool for experimentation and idea visualization. The primary objective was to foster a graphical mindset among students, stimulating the emergence of radical design concepts. Presented here are select examples showcasing the remarkable student work generated within this transformative learning environment.
